Q: Can I get my ring resized at The Diamond Center?
A: Yes! Whether your ring is from The Diamond Center or not, our in-house goldsmiths can resize it.
We ALWAYS recommend having your significant other stop in store to have their finger sized before purchasing the ring to avoid extra bending/expanding being done on the ring.
Q: When should I resize my ring?
A: Your fingers will change slightly in size due to environmental factors, weather, aging, and more. Here are some key signs of when you should get your ring resized: finger swelling, pain, redness, it is very difficult to remove or if it falls off when shaking your hand.
Q: Can I resize the same ring multiple times?
A: Yes, however it is not recommended. It can weaken the structure of the ring the more you bend the metal.
Q: What rings can not be resized?
A: There are certain types of rings that we can not resize, to be sure we always recommend bringing your ring in for our staff to see in person. One reason is that your ring is made from an unconventional metal such as resin, ceramic, jade, or wood. There are also eternity bands or rings with a complex band design that can not be resized without disrupting the design. Lastly, if you are trying to size the ring up/down too many sizes (usually 2 or more) it can cause stones to pop out or metal to be bent/stretched too much.
Q: Can you cut my ring off my finger?
A: Yes, if you can not get your ring off your finger we can cut it off in store for you.
