In as little as 3 seconds, watches with satellite wave technology receive a GPS signal that adjusts to new time zones with amazing speed and ease. With coverage across 40 of the existing UTC standard time zones, watches with satellite wave technology ensure the most accurate time in any conventional watch. Whether you trek through the desert, cruise the oceans, or climb a snowy mountain, you never need to worry about having the correct time.
A generating tower transmits an exceptionally accurate time signal from an atomic clock. The watch’s internal receiver captures the signal and displays the precise time. The atomic timing signal is accurate to 1 second over 20 million years. Powered by the light around you, these watches never need a battery change.

Citizen celebrates its centennial by bringing history forward with a reintroduction from its iconic Challenge Timer collection. In late 1972, Citizen conceptualized this automatic Chronograph with a “bullhead” construction. This model later resulted in the launch of the Tsuno Chrono (Japanese “horned chronograph”) in early 1973.
