Customer Story: Kristin + Jason
Capturing Moments: Your Stories, Our Inspiration
Kristin & Jason
Each purchase represents more than just a piece of jewelry; it signifies a unique moment and the connection between 2 people. At The Diamond Center, we believe in the power of these stories, and we’re passionate about creating a community where your experiences take center stage. Here is the story of Kristin and Jason.
How We Met:
I met Jason through mutual friends. His friend Dustin had asked if I would be interested in meeting his friend Jason. I replied by saying that it depends tell me more about him. Dustin went on by saying that he is a really nice guy, just kind of quiet (opposite of me). We finally met at a Halloween party in 2020. He comes up to me and the first thing he says is “Hi I’m Jason the one that doesn’t talk much.” which made me laugh more than I should have. From that moment on we became inseparable. Jason and I had been talking about marriage and I honestly did not think that he would ever want to get married from the way he talked.
Our Experience at The Diamond Center:

One day he surprised me when we were walking into a jewelry store and started looking at engagement rings. They had a nice selection, but I never really saw anything that I fell in lo
ve with. Then we went to The Diamond Center and we were blown away by the selection that they had and the customer service. Elizabeth was so friendly and patient with us. I tried on so many rings and could not narrow it down to what I wanted. Elizabeth suggested that we look at a solitary diamond for my engagement ring and then when Jason and I get married we could look for a wrap to go around it. I loved that idea, that way I could have more options on making my wedding ring the way I want it to look.
The Proposal:
Jason’s proposal was so cute I could tell how nervous he was. We had first gone out to eat at a nice supper club and then he had taken me to a place we had walked on our first date in Janesville. He told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes and I could see the tears of happiness starting to form in his eyes. Afterwards (this is usually what makes people laugh) we went and got McDonald’s for our kids and went home to tell them the news. We plan on celebrating our engagement later with friends and family. Our plan is to elope in October 2025.
Thank you Diamond Center for helping me pick out my engagement ring that I absolutely love!
